Brighton vs Tottenham bet builder tips and match predictions for Sunday’s fixture in the Premier League

Ange Postecoglu’s Spurs travel to face Brighton this Sunday, as they look to make it six wins in a row in all competitions. In their last five, they have two Premier League wins, two Europa League wins and a Carabao Cup victory over Coventry City. They are currently eighth in the league. After finishing fifth last season, they are 11/4 for a top four finish this time round.

Brighton finished 11th last season and are currently ninth with two wins, three draws and one defeat. They are 3/10 for a top half finish this season. If you fancy them to achieve more, they’re 5/2 for a top six finish.

Betting odds:

  • Spurs are 6/5 favourites for the win on the road
  • The draw is 3/1
  • Brighton are 19/10 for the win at home

⚪Tottenham to win

Spurs have won five out of five and were backing them to make it six from six as they pay the Seagulls of Brighton a visit this Sunday. Big Ange’s side have been impressive since their mid-September defeat to North London rivals Arsenal, and I think they’ll continue their fine form here. They have scored a decent 13 in their last five, and will make life very difficult for Brighton here. I think they’re good odds for the win.

🎯Dominic Solanke & Brennan Johnson over 0.5 shots on target

Both Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson have been impressive up front recently for Spurs, so we’re taking them both to have at least one shot on target in this fixture. They both scored in last weekend’s 0-3 victory over Man United, making it two league games in a row where they’ve both scored, after they did the same in a 3-1 win over Brentford. Solanke has two goals in four league appearances, with nine shots on target. Johnson has two goals in six, with six shots on target. Both have an average of at least one shot on target per game, so we’re backing the pair of them to have at least one here.

🟨Lewis Dunk to be booked

We’re going for just one player to be carded in this one – Lewis Dunk. With a front line of Werner, Solanke and Johnson, Spurs will cause defenders a lot of trouble, and Dunk could be one of them. He has been booked twice in the opening six Prem matches this season, and I think his side will be on the back foot for a lot of this one. I think he’s good odds to pick up his third booking of the season this weekend.
