Unfortunately for Villa, I see this match as a foregone conclusion. I expect Liverpool to pick up all three points here and extend their unbeaten run to 13 games. They have won nine of their last 10 games in all competitions, and come into this one on the back of a 4-0 hammering of Bayer Leverkusen during the week. Villa haven’t won in four in all competitions, and I don’t think they’ll win here either.

That said, I do think there’s a good chance both teams will score. We all know what Bulla can do, they’re a good side and will be looking to turn their recent form around, and quickly. With that, I think they’ll create a lot of chances here and I think they’ll score. Although they haven’t won in four, they have still scored in eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions. I think both teams to score will land here.

Luis Diaz has been on fire for Liverpool this season, adding a hattrick to his impressive stats during the week against Leverkusen. He has bagged five goals in the Premier League so far this season, meaning he has an average of one goal every two games. He has had nine shots on target in those 10 fixtures, and I think he will be full of confidence from his midweek glory. I think there’s a great chance he will have two or more shots on target here.

We’re going for Boubacar Kamara to be carded here. He has only made two league appearances for Villa this season, but he started during the week against Club Brugge, and was booked. That was his second booking of the Champions League campaign, and I think if he features here there’s a good chance of him picking up a card against an excellent Liverpool.
