Man City to win

Manchester City are a formidable force, and even coming up against Liverpool who are probably their closest competitors, I expect them to win. City are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, with their last defeat coming against Arsenal, a 1-0 defeat on the 8^th of October. Both teams have scored in four on Manchester City’s last six league matches, with both teams scoring in just two of Liverpool’s last five. That said, they are playing Man City here, who have scored in all but one of their 19 fixtures in all competitions this season. Liverpool have scored in all of their 18 matches played so far this season, and both sides are so dangerous in attack. With this being an early Saturday kick off right after the international break, both teams may be slightly more fatigued having had less time to recover from fixtures and a lot of travelling, so defences could be more open to making mistakes. I think both teams to score is a dead cert in this one.

 

Trent Alexander Arnold to be booked

Trent Alexander Arnold will be in for a tough 90 minutes in this one, as he is likely to come directly up against the likes Jeremy Doku or Jack Grealish, who are both pacey and tricky customers to deal with. TAA  has collected three yellow cards in the Premier League so far this season, making four fouls in his 10 appearances so far. City will be on it from the off, with a lot of attacks coming down his side, and I think he will make a foul or two as he tries to stop them. I think he is great odds for a booking here.
