Everton need to get back to winning ways, and fast. They were hammered last time out by Manchester United and sit firming in the relegation places on just four points, following their 10-point deduction for breaching financial fair play rules. They would be sitting one point above this weekend’s opponents, Forest, had they not been deducted points, and have had a slightly better campaign on the field than Steve Cooper’s side. Forest have won just two of their last 10 fixtures, while Everton have won six of their last 10 in all competitions. I think the Toffees will come away with the points this weekend.

Although I think Everton will win, I do think it will be hard fought. Forest have scored in each of their home fixtures in the Premier League so far this season, and it can be a difficult place to go for many. They have scored 16 league goals, the highest of the bottom eight league sides, and conceded 21. Everton have scored 14 and conceded 20 and have scored in four of their six league matches on the road so far this season. I think both teams to score is a good bet here.

 

Harry Toffolo to be booked

Harry Toffolo has made seven appearances for Forest so far this season, starting each of their last three games at left back. In that time, he has picked up one yellow card, and I think he is a good bet to be carded in consecutive weeks. He will be up against Jack Harrison and Ashley Young down the right-hand side, who when coupled together will be a handful for many. Toffolo averages one foul per game so far this campaign, and I think he will make a couple of fouls in this one and there’s a good chance of him seeing yellow.
