We’re expecting a lively encounter between these two to get them underway for the 2024/25 Premier League season. New Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui will be looking to get off to a flyer, having brought in several new faces to the London Stadium. Villa finished fourth last time out and will be right up for it again this season, so we’re taking a both teams to score tip in this one.

Niclas Fullkrug comes into this season at his new club having proven his worth on the national stage at EURO 2024 with Germany. The former Dortmund man managed two goals for his national side this summer and bagged 12 goals in the Bundesliga last season. We also like the look of two players to be carded in this fixture. Villa captain John McGinn starts this campaign following a dismal display for Scotland at the Euros, and will be keen to show his worth this weekend. He loves to get stuck in and is good odds for a yellow here. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of several new kids on the block at West Ham, and we all know his defensive capabilities.
