Newcastle are unbeaten in the league so far this season, with two wins and a draw to their name in the league so far. I’m expecting them to continue their fine form here against a Wolves side who winless in their opening three league matches and have been on the wrong end of a 2-6 hammering at the hands of Chelsea.
We’re taking Anthony Gordon to have at least one shot on target here. Last season, he averaged just under one shot on target per game, with 31 in his 35 league appearances. He bagged himself 11 league goals in that time. So far this season, he has one shot on target and one goal in his opening three. He will be very involved when Newcastle are on the front foot, and he is great odds to have at least one shot on target.
We’re going for two players to be carded in this fixture. Bruno Guimaraes loves a yellow card, picking up nine bookings in his 37 Prem appearances last campaign. He has already been booked once so far this season in three outings, and we think he’s good odds to pick up his second of the season here. The second player for a card is Nelson Semedo. The full back has picked up 11 yellow cards and one red card in both of his last two seasons in the league.
