46/1 Player to Be Booked Treble for this Weekend’s Premier League Matches

The final round of fixtures before Christmas takes place this week and we have asked Jamie to pick out three players to be booked betting tips across the four days of fixtures.

We start with the West Ham vs Man United match on Saturday before a tip in the Liverpool vs Arsenal game at 5.30pm. The last of the three bookings bets comes in the Christmas Eve fixture between Wolves at Chelsea.

If all three players get a card, the bet will be a winner at odds of 46/1 with Betfair or Paddy Power, or you could bet on the doubles as well as the treble to get a payout if two or more players get a card.

 

11/4 – Luke Shaw to be carded vs West Ham

Currently only 1 point separates these sides in the table, with the opportunity for either side to break into the top 6 with a win. West Ham right-winger Mohammed Kudus is in great form, having scored twice against Wolves last weekend. He is also a direct player who will take on the opposing fullback, shown by Kudus being fouled 22 times in his 8 starts, including 5 times against Wolves – which saw Wolves left-back Toti booked in the first half.

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is a player that isn’t afraid to get stuck in, and he has picked up 3 bookings in 7 games since coming back from injury. Referee Simon Hooper has handed out 54 yellow cards and 3 red cards in 10 Premier League games so far this season.

 

10/3 – Kai Havertz to be carded vs Liverpool

This is a massive game which sees Arsenal in first come to Anfield to face a Liverpool side that are a point behind. This exact fixture was a major turning point in Arsenal’s season last April, which saw Arsenal lose a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2 with 4 players from each side receiving a booking. Due to the importance of this game, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see referee Chris Kavanagh continue to hand out more yellow cards.

In 11 of their 17 games this season, an opposition central midfielder has been booked against Liverpool, and with Kai Havertz in the Arsenal midfield, he is the most likely player to get stuck in. Havertz has been booked 4 times in 17 games this season, committing 18 fouls in 11 starts.

 

15/8 Conor Gallagher to be carded vs Wolves

Despite not picking up many points, Wolves have looked good in parts this season and they’ll fancy their chances against a side that only sit 3 points above them in the table. An opposition central midfielder has been booked in 10 of Wolves’ 17 games this season, including in all of their 8 home games. This gives opportunity to Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to pick up yet another yellow card.

Gallagher has committed 36 fouls in 16 games this season, the highest average in the division of 2.3 per game. Already in December, Gallagher has been booked against Sheffield United and sent off against Brighton. With the referee being David Coote, someone that has given 27 yellow cards and 3 red cards in 6 Premier League games this season, Gallagher will be lucky to escape without a booking at Molineux.
