Arsenal vs Brentford Predictions, 45/1 Bet Builder and Betting Tips
Arsenal vs Brentford bet builder tips for Sunday’s fixture in the Champions League with a player to have a shot on target, two players to be carded and a team to win the match.
Betting odds
- Arsenal are 8/13 favourites for the win at home
- The draw is 10/3
- Brentford are 15/4 for the win away from home
Arsenal are having a good season and are in second position in the league. The title is, unfortunately for them, all but won by Liverpool. However, they’re in a good position to finish second, five points ahead of Forest in third. They’re a short 1/20 to finish in the top two.
Brentford are 12th in the league, three points outside of the top half. They’re 10/3 for a top-half finish this season.
Arsenal v Brentford Bet Builder Tip
- Arsenal to win
- Bryan Mbuemo 1+ shots on target
- Thomas Partey to be booked
- Christian Norgaard to be booked
Betting odds: 45/1 with bet365.
Arsenal vs Brentford Predictions
I think Arsenal will win this one at home. The Gunners will come into this one full of confidence following their 3-0 hammering of Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday. That win means they are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions. Brentford have won four of their last 10, so their form is very mixed. Arsenal have only lost one league game at home this season, and I can only see them winning this one.
Despite backing an Arsenal win, I do think Brentford will create a chance or two, and I’m backing Bryan Mbuemo to have one or more shots on target. He has scored 16 league goals in 31 appearances, chipping in with five assists. He’s a big threat in the final third for Brentford, and I think that will be no different here. He has had 34 shots on target in the league, giving him an average of more than one per game. I think he’s good odds for at least one shot on target here.
We’ve gone for two midfield players to be booked here, one from each team – Thomas Partey and Christian Norgaard. Arsenal’s Thomas Partey has been carded four times in 29 games this season. He has made 36 fouls in that time, meaning he has an average well over one foul per game. Norgaard has picked up five cards in the league this season, four yellows and one red. He has also picked up a yellow card in the Carabao Cup. In the league, he has fouled 35 times in 27 games, giving him an average of more than one foul per game. I think both players are good odds for a booking in this one.
