Bournemouth betting tips

Bournemouth vs Liverpool bet builder tips and predictions for the Saturday lunchtime kick-off this weekend. Liverpool are back to form and Bournemouth will be smarting after their last gasp defeat at Arsenal last weekend.

In the betting odds for the lunchtime kick-off, Liverpool are the strong favourites to win the match at 4/9, the draw is 17/4 and if you think Bournemouth can cause the upset and get the three points, they are top price 7/1 to beat Liverpool.

Liverpool to win

Liverpool will be full of confidence following their 7-0 demolition of rivals Manchester United at Anfield during the week. No Liverpool fan was expecting a win of that magnitude against a United side who had been flying high prior to the game, going unbeaten in their 11 fixtures before their visit to play Jurgen Klopp’s side. Liverpool are within touching distance of the top four now, after what many would describe as a poor season by their standards, and they’ll be looking to continue their fine run and pull closer to that place. They are now unbeaten in their last five Premier League fixtures with four ones and one draw in that time, while Bournemouth have lost three of their last five league matches. I expect Liverpool to win this one fairly comfortably.

Mo Salah to score

Jurgen Klopp has relied a great deal on Mo Salah popping up with goals over the years, and he’s started to find his form again of late. The Egyptian bagged himself a brace against United during the week, and could’ve had one or two more for himself. He now has 11 Premier League goals for the season in the 25 matches he has played, and will be looking to add to his tally significantly before the season draws out. He has managed 19 or more  Premier League goals every season since joining Liverpool, and while he may not  reach that tally this year, he will want to get as many more as possible. He averages 3.10 shots per game, and I think he will have enough chances to get himself on the scoresheet in this one.

Jefferson Lerma to be booked

Jefferson Lerma has been an ever present for Bournemouth this season, starting 24 of their 25 Premier League fixtures, and has been one of their more promising players in a season which has seen them slip to the bottom of the Premier League. Lerma has been booked three times in the Premier League so far this season, and he will be in for a very physical match against the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson of Liverpool. He averages 0.91 fouls per game, and he will be forced into making a couple in this one. I think he is excellent value to be shown a yellow here.
