Brazil are strong favourites at 9/4 to go all the way and win this World Cup and they will take some stopping. I don’t think South Korea, despite defeating Portugal in their last fixture, will have enough to stop the Brazilians and I think they’ll win this one comfortably. They did lose to Cameroon last time out, but they had already qualified for the last 16 before that game. In their opening two fixtures in the group, they won 1-0 and 2-0 and have only conceded one goal so far, in that defeat to Cameroon. I think they’ll be quick out the blocks in this one and will be leading at half time and continue into the second half and think this selection has a good chance.

We all know how dangerous Brazil are going forward and I expect them to get at least a couple in this one. They scored more than one only once in their three group matches, a 2-0 win over Serbia. However, in the matches on the build up to the World Cup, they scored more than one in six of their seven games. In fact, they scored four or more in five of those games as well. They defeated South Korea 5-1 when they met in a friendly back in June, and I think they’ll get at least two in this one against a South Korea side who lost three to Ghana in one of their group fixtures.

Richarlison is Brazil’s main man in front of goal these days. He hasn’t managed a Premier League goal for Spurs yet this season, but he has been on fire in the yellow and green of his country. He has scored two so far at this World Cup, and has bagged nine goals in his last eight outings for Brazil. He has averaged 3.13 shots per match so far in the competition, with 1.25 of those being on target, and I think he will increase his goal tally in this one.
