Crystal Palace to win

Crystal Palace have had a mixed start to the season with one win, one draw and one defeat in their opening three Premier League fixtures. Their win came on the opening day of the season with a 0-1 away victory over Sheffield United, with Odsonne Edouard getting the only goal of the game in the 49th minute. Wolves have lost two and won one, and I think the home advantage will have a big part to play in this one for Palace. Both sides are coming off the back of midweek wins in the cup against lower league opposition and will both be looking to bring that form into the league, and I think it will be Palace who do just that.

Mario Lemina to be booked

Mario Lemina has picked up two yellow cards already this season in just three games, and I’m backing him to have his name taken again in this fixture. He picked up four yellow cards in his 16 starts and one sub appearance last season and averaged 1.33 fouls per game in the 22/23 campaign, where he also picked up one red card. I expect this one to be a very physical encounter, and I think Lemina is good odds to see yellow once again.

Cheick Doucoure over 0.5 shots

In his 32 Premier League appearances last season Cheick Doucoure managed 33 shots from midfield, an average over just over one per game. For a defensive midfielder, that is a good effort. He likes to get forward and will be keen to break the lines in this one, as he searches to put his team on the front foot. He has had two shots so far this season, both coming in their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at Selhurst Park. I expect Palace to be on the front foot in this one with it being a home fixture, and I think Doucoure will have at least one shot.
