Everton will be on a real high after their midweek derby win over Liverpool at Goodison Park. It was a great performance from the Toffees, and they have taken a massive step towards Premier League survival, despite having points deducted by the Premier League this season. They are now eight points clear of the relegation zone, and they’ll be looking for another win to further cement their prem status and leapfrog their opponents Brentford into 15th place. I’m backing Everton to pick up another three points here.

 

Dominic Calvert-Lewin over 0.5 shots on target

Dominic Calvert-Lewin put in an excellent performance against Liverpool during the week, which will fill him with confidence going into this one. In his 29 league appearances for Sean Dyche’s side this season, he has scored six goals, with 26 shots on target in that time, an average of just under one per game. Three of his six goals have come in April, meaning he’s in his best form of the season at the moment. I’m backing him to have at least one shot on target.

 

Abdoulaye Doucoure to be booked

Abdoulaye Doucoure is an excellent shout for a booking in this one. In his 28 Premier League appearances so far this season, he has picked up six yellow cards, making a massive 49 fouls in the process, an average of well over 1.5 per game. The stats suggest he will make a number of fouls here, and I think this one will be very physical as both sides look to pull further clear from the relegation zone. I’m backing Doucoure to be carded here.
