Everton vs Man United Predictions

We’re backing Everton to win this one. They’ve had a resurgence under David Moyes, and I think he will get one over on his ex-club, Man United. The Toffees are now unbeaten in their last five Premier League fixtures, with four wins and one draw, the draw coming at home to city rivals Liverpool. United have won just two of their last five, and I think their poor form will continue here against a new-look Everton side.

That said, I do think both teams will score. United don’t score many, but I think both teams will be at it from the off here, leaving themselves exposed at the back and both creating plenty of chances. Should United win here they will jump ahead of their opponents in the league and they will be desperate to do that and regain form, but Everton will be equally desperate to retain their good form and climb the table further. This will be a fast-paced encounter and I think both teams to score is a great bet.

We’re going for Everton striker Beto to either score or assist. He has scored four in Everton’s last three league matches, taking his tally to five for the season in 17 league matches, bagging one in the Carabao Cup.  He has really hit the ground running under David Moyes, and with Everton creating a good number of chances, he’s great odds to score or assist.

Finally, Manuel Ugarte is the man we’re taking to pick up a booking this weekend. In his 18 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this season, he has picked up a massive eight yellow cards, an average just under 0.5 per game. He has made 28 fouls in those 18 league matches, giving him an average of over 1.5 fouls per game. I expect him to make a few here, and he’s good odds for his ninth card of the season.
