Ipswich vs Crystal Palace betting tips and predictions for a bet builder on the Tuesday night Premier League fixture with players to be carded and shots on target bets.

Both sides are down the bottom of the Premier League table going into this game, separated by two places and level on 9 points. It has been a tough start to the season for Palace in particular but they will take encouragement from their last gasp equaliser against Newcastle on Saturday.

Ipswich have played some decent football but still only have nine points on the board. They’ve drawn four and lost two in their six home matches so far this season.

Ipswich vs Crystal Palace Predictions

This will be seen as an early-season six-pointer for both sides, with a relegation battle looming for both teams. Ipswich will hope they can get their first home win of the season, and we’re predicting exactly that in what could be an exciting clash.

Prediction 1 – Both Teams to Score

Palace’s last two away matches have ended 2-2, and they do seem to have found some goalscoring form after a slow start to the season. Those draws have come against Wolves and Aston Villa, and it would be no surprise to see them get on the scoresheet again in this one. They’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in their eight away matches this season.

Ipswich have scored in four of their last five matches at home and both teams have scored in seven of their last nine Premier League matches.

Prediction 2 – Liam Delap to score anytime

Liam Delap is the man who can keep Ipswich in the Premier League and he has already scored six goals this season. Given Crystal Palace’s defensive troubles, the big striker will get chances in this match and we’re predicting he will take one of those and get on the scoresheet.

Prediction 3 – Sam Morsy to be carded

Each weekend, Sam Morsy is one of the favourites to be booked when Ipswich play and it is easy to see why. The Ipswich captain makes fouls every game and even if one isn’t bad enough for a card, the totting-up process comes into account. He has made two fouls in each of his last three matches.

Prediction 4 – Will Hughes to be carded

Like Morsy, Will Hughes is always near the top of the betting odds for a card when Palace play. Despite not being booked in his last two matches, he has made four fouls in that time and earlier in the season he was booked four times in five matches. Hopefully, the midfield battle with Morsy will see them both go into the book to land our bet builder tip.
