Jurgen Klopp’s side are having a difficult time in the Premier League, having won just two of their opening seven matches. That said, the Reds won their last Champions League game against Ajax, and this clash with Rangers will be a welcome distraction to their dismal start. I expect Liverpool to have too much for Rangers, especially at Anfield, and this selection is a worthy addition to the bet builder.

Although Liverpool should win this one comfortably, Rangers will be will up for this one. The Ibrox side will bring a large and noisy travelling support to Merseyside, and with their backing I expect them to get on the scoresheet. The Gers are going well in the Scottish Premiership, winning six of their eight matches so far, and lie just two points behind bitter rivals and league leaders, Celtic. They have scored 29 goals in all competitions this season, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them add to their tally here, in what is a huge occasion for them.

 

Roberto Firmino to score anytime

Despite Liverpool’s tricky start to their campaign, Roberto Firmino has found some scoring form for the Reds. He is the top scorer at the club so far, with five goals, and has the second best minutes per goal ratio in the league with 84, which is only bettered by Erling Haaland. The Brazilian bagged a brace last time out against Brighton, and you wouldn’t bet against him getting a goal or two in this one.
