• Erling Haaland to score two or more

Erling Haaland is arguably the best goal scorer the Premier League has ever seen. The Norwegian striker has been sidelined for some of this season, meaning he has only featured in 21 of City’s league fixtures. In that time, he already has 17 goals to his name, an average just under a goal a game. In midweek, the 23-year-old bagged five (5) goals against Luton Town in his sides 2-6 win away to Luton in the FA Cup. I think he is great odds to score two or more against United here.

 

• Both teams to receive a card

A derby match is one that everyone is up for, which means tackles will be flying in straight from the off with both teams keen to stamp their authority on the game. Last time these two met, there was four cards in the game, and I’m backing them to both pick up a booking in this one. There has been a United player booked in four of their last five fixtures, and for City they have had a booking in each of their last three in the league. With this being a derby fixture, I think taking both teams to have a card adds real value here.

 

• Bruno Fernandes to be booked

Bruno Fernandes loves a card. This season, the Portuguese midfielder has picked up eight yellow cards in his 25 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, averaging well over one foul per game with 33 fouls in that time. In this one, he will be coming up against the likes of Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne, which I’m sure he’s not overly excited about given their quality and presence. With that, I think he is great odds to pick up a booking in the Manchester derby this weekend.
