Going away to Marseille will be difficult for Spurs, who struggled in their last Champions League fixture at home to Sporting, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. This is a very tight group, with only two points separating Tottenham at the top and Marseille at the bottom, so this will be an extremely tight affair as both sides look to keep up the pace. Marseille will go for it as they chase the opportunity to qualify for the last 16, a win for them could see them go top of the group. I could see this one being a draw, however, if one team are to take all three points I think it will be Spurs.

 

Under three goals in the match

As previously mentioned, the nature of Group D will make this fixture a very tight and tense affair. I expect both teams to be on their game defensively and I think there will be very few goals in it. I think it will be a low scoring win for Spurs, or a low scoring 1-1 draw. There has been under three goals in four of Spurs’ five Champions League fixtures so far, and for Marseille, three of their five have had under three goals. Harry Kane to score anytime
