Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa Predictions, Betting Tips and 8/1 Bet Builder
Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa bet builder tips and match predictions for Saturday’s fixture in the Premier League.
Betting odds:
- Forest are slight favourites at 8/5 for the win at home
- The draw is 12/5
- If you fancy Villa, they are 17/10 for the win on the road
Both Forest and Villa have had a strong start to the season, with Forest in fifth and Villa in sixth. Forest have won seven, drawn four and lost four so far this season. They are still 7/1 to finish in the top six.
Villa have an identical record to Forest, but they have scored and conceded more, leaving them one goal behind their opponents on goal difference. They are 13/8 to finish in the top six.
Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa Prediction
Both these teams are having great seasons so far, and as previously mentioned they are fifth and sixth in the league. They’ll both be looking to maintain that pace and stay in the top six, and I expect this one to be fast-paced straight from the off. Forest have scored in seven of their last 10 fixtures, and Villa have scored in six of their last 10 in all competitions, and they have scored in seven of their last 10 in the league. I think both teams to score is a great bet here.
Bet Builder Prediction 2 – Chris Wood to have a shot on target
Chris Wood is Forest’s main outlet up front this season. He has bagged 10 goals in his 15 league appearances so far this season, which is an excellent return, especially considering he only scored 14 in 31 last season. He has had 17 shots on target in those 10 games, which is an average of over one per game.
Bet Builder Prediction 3 – Watkins to have a shot on target
We’re also backing Ollie Watkins to have a shot on target here too. He has scored seven in 15 this season, with 21 shots on target. Both will have chances in this one, and I think there’s a great chance that they’ll both get a shot on target.
Bet Builder Prediction 3 – Yates to be carded
We’re also backing Forest midfielder Ryan Yates for a card in this one. As I said, I expect it to be fast-paced, which means it’ll also be fiery. We all know what Yates can be like in the middle of the park, flying into challenges. He has picked up four yellow cards this season, making 28 fouls in his 15 appearances, an average of just under two per game. Last time out, he made eight fouls without being carded, but I don’t think he will be so lucky if he’s to make a similar number of fouls here.
Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa Bet Builder Tip
- Both teams to score
- Chris Wood over 0.5 shots on target
- Ollie Watkins over 0.5 shots on target
- Ryan Yates to be booked
Betting odds: 8/1 with bet365.
