Tottenham vs Bournemouth Predictions, 18/1 Bet Builder and Betting Tips
Tottenham vs Bournemouth bet builder tip for Sunday’s fixture in the Premier League with a team to win or draw, BTTS and two players to get booked.
Betting odds
- Bournemouth are 27/20 favourites for the win away from home
- The draw is 29/10
- A win at home for Spurs is 17/10
Bournemouth are having a good season and find themselves in seventh, just one point outside the top six. They’re 13/8 to finish in the top six this season.
Spurs are having a very poor season and are 13th in the league. They are nine points away from a top half finish, and are 3/1 for a top half finish.
Tottenham v Bournemouth Bet Builder Tip
- Double chance: Bournemouth to win or draw
- Both teams to score
- Rodrigo Bentancur to be booked
- Ryan Christie to be booked
Betting odds: 18/1 with bet365.
Tottenham vs Bournemouth Predictions
Bournemouth are having a far better season than Spurs, and I don’t think they’ll lose here. The Cherries are just one point outside the top six and have had a very impressive season by their standard, playing excellent football throughout the campaign. They have had a slight dip in form of late, but I think they’ll avoid defeat against a Spurs side who lose or draw more often then not – with eight wins in their last 20. Bournemouth ran out 1-0 winners over Spurs back in December too. I think Bournemouth will be fighting to get back in the top six, and I don’t think they’ll lose.
I do, however, think both teams will score. This will be Spurs’ poorest season in a lot of years if they don’t somehow turn it around and get points on the board, so they’ll be fighting. Ange Postecoglu’s swashbuckling style is probably the reason they are where they are, but while it leaves them exposed at the back, they do create chances and score goals. I think both teams will have chances, and I think they’ll both take them.
We’ve gone with two players to be carded – Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Christie. Bentancur has picked up six bookings in his 17 Premier League appearances this season, while also being booked three times in nine Europa League matches. He averages just under 1.5 fouls per game, and I think he’s good odds for a booking here. Ryan Christie covers a lot of ground in the middle of the park, but he is partial to a foul or two, and a booking. He has picked up nine yellow cards this season in his26 appearances, with an average of over 1.5 fouls per game. He’s also good odds to pick up his tenth card of the season here.
