Tonight’s Football Betting Tips

We’ve picked our tips from French Ligue 1, Serie B, Dutch Eredivisie and the Dutch Jupiler (Erste). The 4-fold pays 13/1 with Coral.

 

Marseille vs Brest – Over 1.5 Marseille Team Goals

Marseille were relatively slow starters this season, but Andres Villas Boas’ men have kicked into gear and they’ve been particularly impressive on their own patch lately. They’ve had a difficult run of fixtures at home and 13th placed Brest are the lowest-ranked side that they’ve faced at the Stade Velodrome this season. They’ve recently stuck a couple past Lyon, Lille and Strasbourg here and there’s no reason why they can’t do the same again. They’ve notched exactly two goals in each of their last three matches at home and are on a six-match unbeaten run. Brest have fared quite well this season although the recently promoted outfit are now three without a win. Away from home, they’ve been a mixed bag, but have lost to Amiens and Monaco in recent months and could find the hosts tough to keep off the score-sheet.

 

Heerenveen vs Vitesse – Heerenveen Draw No Bet

Heerenveen have gone relatively under the radar so far this season, however they sit 7th in the Eredivisie and are yet to be defeated at home. Last time out, they were narrowly defeated at the Phillips Stadion and will be aiming to bounce back on Friday night. The key has been their watertight defence (not a sentence you hear often in the Eredivisie) and they’ve shipped just five home goals so far this campaign. Leonid Slutsky’s Vitesse started the season brightly although they’ve suffered a recent dip in form and come into this game off the back of four consecutive defeats. They’ve recently lost at Sparta and Emmen and will likely find this a tough place to visit. Heerenveen have found the net in each of their last ten games so they’re likely to find a way through here and it could be difficult for the visitors to hit back.

 

Cosenza vs Spezia – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Two sides who are struggling at the bottom of Serie B meet on Friday night and we’re expecting both sides to find the back of the net. Spezia gave themselves a big boost with a 2-0 win over Frosinone last weekend and they have now scored nine times in their last six games. Although it’s been slow progress, they are slowly pulling away from danger and have managed to hit the back of the net in each of their last three away games. Last time out, they gave Pisa an almighty scare, narrowly losing 3-2. Cosenza are usually good for a goal at home and have netted in each of their last five fixtures here. 50% of their matches here have ended 1-1 this season (a very Serie B trait) and only Cremonese have kept been kept off the scoresheet. BTTS is very tempting indeed.

 

Cambuur vs Jong AZ – Cambuur Win and Both Teams to Score

The second tier of Dutch football is always a good source of goals, however Cambuur have been bucking the trend this season by keeping a number of clean sheets. The hosts are 2/9 to take three points from Jong AZ on Friday night, but they could find it difficult to keep the visitors off the score-sheet. The away side have scored in all but one of their away fixtures so far and have hit the target in seven consecutive games on the road. It will be tough coming up against the division’s best defence, however they stand a decent chance of breaching it. Cambuur conceded in their last home game to Almere City (3-1) and they are a side who’ve scored exactly the same amount of goals as today’s visitors. It could be a very entertaining 90 minutes.
