Copenhagen vs Sevilla

Sevilla have been out of sorts all season; all but one of their league games has seen both teams score, and their 4-0 and 3-0 drubbings at home to Manchester City and Barcelona respectively hasn’t shone a great light on Julen Lopetegui’s men.

That being said, they are still favourites to travel to the Parken ground and at least pickup a point against Danish outfit Copenhagen, who suffered a loss at Borussia Dortmund last time out.

Rangers vs Napoli

Rangers are another side in relative disarray at the moment. Consecutive 4-0 losses at the hands of Ajax and Celtic have shown that proceedings just aren’t quite right at Ibrox, and you’d put your house on Napoli scoring against Gio van Bronckhorst’s men on Wednesday evening.

That being said, it marks the first game in 12 years since Rangers players took to their sacred ground in a Champions League group stage match, and fans will be completely up for the battle. With wins against Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig in last season’s Europa League, the Gers are hardly goal shy.

And despite expecting a Napoli win, Luciano Spalletti’s men could well have their defence breached.

 

Juventus vs Benfica

If you’ve watched Juventus in the last few weeks, then hats off to you; they’ve been a real spectacle to watch.

An unfortunate draw at the hands of Fiorentina was following up in a game they should have at least nabbed a point in against Paris Saint-Germain, although a 2-1 win for the French giants gave them a poor start to the group.

However, if Sunday’s performance against Salernitana is anything to go by, their defence will face a tough, tough test against a Benfica side who have a lot of European nous. Expect goals at either end in Turin.

 

Rotherham vs Blackpool

Rotherham have been this season’s surprise package in the Championship; Paul Warne’s men currently sit in 16th albeit with two games in hand which will likely see them enter the top half for the turn of the month.

It’s a massive turnaround from the Rotherham of usual, with the Millers ending every season since 2015-16 either promoted to the Championship, or relegated from it – so they at least know where the net is this year.

That being said, Blackpool are a side who always cause problems, and with more goals on their travels than their home patch, both teams scoring is a real possibility.
