Champions League Accumulator Tip

Atletico Madrid vs Porto

Atletico Madrid and Porto face each other in the so-called “group of death” on Wednesday. They have faced each other in the competition 6 times prior to this match, and they have two wins each, with two more draws between them.

Every point is vital in this group, and both teams know it. Atletico will be confident after their last-gasp win against Espanyol on the weekend, and Porto head into this game with a 1-1 draw against Sporting on Saturday. Atletico will just edge this one.

Score Prediction: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Porto (8/1 with Bet Victor)

Club Brugge vs PSG

All eyes will be on the much-anticipated Leo Messi debut for PSG in the Champions League, a competition he was so desperate to win in the final years of his Barcelona career. The summer recruitment in PSG has been impressive, and they are the favourites to win the Champions League come May.

These teams faced each other in the 2019/20 Champions League season, and PSG won both games without conceding a goal. Club Brugge are a decent team, and they will create some problems for the Parisians, but there is only one winner here.

Score Prediction: Club Brugge 1-4 PSG (16/1 with William Hill)

Inter Milan vs Real Madrid

Another classic is on the program on Wednesday night, as two of the biggest teams in the world go head to head. They were both in the same group last season as well when Real won both games, and Inter were out of the competition, finishing last in the group.

Inter have made many changes during the summer, they are in a deep financial crisis and is still unclear how this season will turn out for them. This is the first real test they will have, and it will be a good indicator of what’s to come. Real Madrid haven’t been active in the transfer window, but new coach Carlo Ancelotti is very experienced, so they are surely among the favourites this season. A draw might be the fairest result here.

Score Prediction: Inter Milan 1-1 Real Madrid (13/2 with Bet Victor)

Liverpool vs AC Milan

One thing crosses everyone’s mind when thinking of this game – Istanbul 2005. What is more interesting, these two European giants have only faced each other two times in their history in European competition – both of those games were finals, in 2005 and 2007.

Liverpool seem back to their brilliant best after an injury-plagued last season, and they are up against an AC Milan side, who are back in this competition for the first time since the 2013/14 season. They are off to a perfect start in Serie A, having won 3 out of 3. However, the experience Liverpool have might be too much for the Italians.

Score Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 AC Milan (8/1 with SBK)

Manchester City vs Leipzig

Manchester City are once again among the favourites to win the Champions League, and they will be desperate to achieve that this season, having come so close in the last campaign. Pep Guardiola has not won this trophy since his Barcelona days, and he will be keen to silence his doubters as soon as possible.

Leipzig have undergone massive changes during the summer, as they have lost their manager, centre-back, and midfielder to Bayern Munich, so it is no wonder they have had a poor start to the Bundesliga campaign, having won one and lost three games so far. The Citizens are favourites here, and we expect them to win this game comfortably.

Score Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Leipzig (8/1 with William Hill)
