Cole Palmer Odds Slashed to be PFA Player of the Year

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has stolen the headlines in the past few weeks after back-to-back Stamford Bridge hat-tricks and that remarkable feat has seen his odds to be PFA Player of the Year slashed by bet365.

The England forward has now scored 20 goals in the Premier League this season, level at the top of the goalscoring charts with Erling Haaland and it would be no surprise to see him carry on this form until the end of the campaign and take the top scorer crown.

Palmer has been heavily backed to be PFA Player of the Year following his four goals against Everton and bet365 now make him 10/1 fourth favourite to win the coveted award at the end of the season.

From a triple figure price earlier in the season, Palmer was backed into 16/1 following his four goals against Everton on Monday night and that price has continued to shorter, with bet365 now offering 10/1.

Phil Foden is the 11/8 favourite in the PFA Player of the Year odds, followed by Rodri ay 5/2 and Declan Rice at 9/1. A lot will depend on who wins the PRemier League title as to which of those will win the award but there is no doubt that Cole Palmer has been a shining light in a poor season for Chelsea, and is fully deserving of all the accolades coming his way.

Cole Palmer 3/1 to be Premier League Top Goalscorer

After scoring seven goals in his last two home matches, Cole Palmer has rocketed himself to the top of the Premier League top goalscorer charts along with Erling Haaland. He has been cut to 3/1 by bet365 to be the top scorer in the league this season, from a high of 150/1 back in January. Haaland is still the favourite at odds of 4/7 with bet365 and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is 6/1, just one goal behind the front two in the standings.

Cole Palmer’s Odds to be in the England Euro 2024 Squad

The England youngster has also been well backed to get a place in the England Euro 2024 squad after looking set to miss out just a few weeks ago. England are stacked with attacking talent but surely this recent run of form for Palmer will force Gareth Southgate’s hand and add him to his squad. Palmer is now 1/5 with bet365 to be in the England Euro 2024 squad and barring injuries, this run of 11 goals in his last six games will surely secure his place on the plane.

Palmer will have to battle with the likes of Jarrod Bowen, James Maddison and Anthony Gordon for a place in the squad, while Marcus Rashford is no in form at all and even Bukayo Saka has been poor in recent weeks. Southgate is almost certain to keep his core players in the squad though, but Palmer’s odds to be in the England Euro 2024 squad are indicative of the fans thoughts, and he is hard to ignore.
