Ahead of what is a must-win Champions League showdown against Copenhagen on Tuesday night, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been speaking about the immediate impact that summer arrival Rasmus Hojlund has made.

United handed a timely injury boost

While Manchester United might be unable to call upon midfield talisman Casemiro when Copenhagen arrive at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, fans would have been excited to see the former Real Madrid ace make a return to first-team training.

With the 31-year-old missing out in midweek through suspension, ten Hag’s side are hopeful that the five-time Champions League winner will be able to make a welcomed return sooner rather than later.

Still dealing with an injury issue and missing out as United claimed a 2-1 victory away at Sheffield United last weekend, there were some concerns around Old Trafford that Casemiro could be set for a lengthy stint on the sidelines.

Although Casemiro might not be able to play any part against Copenhagen on Tuesday night, United could be boosted by his timely return to first-team training.
