Derby vs Bolton Betting Tip – Derby win.

Problems persist both on and off the field for Bolton and a 2-0 midweek home defeat by Middlesbrough ensured that relegation from the Championship is now becoming a probability. As the League One campaign nears its finale, Portsmouth appear to be gathering momentum with at least two goals netted in four successive victories and they also gained confidence from winning the EFL Trophy via a penalty shoot-out. Pompey are also unbeaten on home soil since mid-January and host a Rochdale outfit involved in a multi-team battle to avoid relegation. The threat of relegation from League Two has been persistent for Morecambe throughout much of the current campaign, but just one defeat in six games and three successive home victories have considerably eased those fears. Forest Green Rovers and MK Dons were both beaten at the Globe Arena last month and Grimsby arrive at the venue having failed to win any of their last eight league games. Losing their last three matches on the road with at least two goals conceded suggests that another defeat is looming.

A 1-0 midweek win at Gateshead allowed Fylde to maintain their slender hopes of securing automatic promotion from the National League, but having lost just once since mid-February, the Lancashire outfit are becoming a difficult team to beat. Relegation has already been confirmed for hosts Braintree and although they have lost six of their last eight matches, the Iron are capable of earning surprise victories as when beating both Sutton and Gateshead last month. However, Fylde are seeking a third consecutive win and they should achieve that target.
