Golf British Masters Betting Tips and Predictions 2020

The European Tour hits full stride this week and it is a Wednesday start for the British Masters from Close House Golf Club, Lee Westwood is hosting and he is currently the 9/1 favourite at William Hill.

British Masters 2020 Betting Tips

My first selection is ADRI ARNAUS 33/1 (40/1 888Sport but only 6 places). Arnaus is one of the most talented players in this field and I’m surprised he’s 40/1 considering some of the prices for the players ahead of him in the market. Arnaus played well in Austria last week finishing 11th and I’m hopeful that will have put him game in top shape for a run at victory this week. The field hasn’t got much depth too it and this fiddly short track could be perfect for Arnaus.

My next selection RENATO PARATORE 45/1 (60/1 bet365 but only 5 places). The Italian is another who’s returned from lockdown in solid enough form and again I feel 50/1 underestimates his chance. Paratore who is one of the quickest on tour knows how to win and can make birdies in a bunch which is likely to be needed to win this week. He finished in the top 20 two weeks ago in Austria and a nice weeks rest should set up well for a good run this week.

My next selection is RICHIE RAMSAY 40/1 (50/1 William Hill but only 6 places). Ramsay will be raring to go and will be relishing this UK Swing to start the European Tour as he tends to play his best golf in the UK every year. Ramsay is a solid ball striker and I’m hopeful the victory of Marc Warren a couple of weeks ago can inspire this Scot to follow in his footsteps. A solid all around player who will have been putting the practice in.

My final selection is ADRIEN SADDIER 45/1 (70/1 bet365 but only 5 places). Saddier is a talented golfer that has been improving every year. He is another golfer that should be ticking over nicely after a Top 20 down in Austria before he made his way over to prepare for this UK Swing. He again could be inspired by the victory of his countryman Joel Stalter last week as they have a very similar profile. This course should suit and he’s an e/w play for me at 70/1.
