Swindon vs Mansfield Betting Tip – Swindon Win

John Dempster’s time at Mansfield has not been hugely successful so far and the rookie manager continues to feel the pressure. His side have not beaten a team above 18th in the table and they are liable to struggle against high-flying Swindon. They drew a blank against a tough-to-beat Macclesfield side last weekend and have won just one of their last five League Two games. Meanwhile, Swindon have been firing on all cylinders and the partnership of Eoin Doyle and Jerry Yates is flourishing. They’ve scored ten times in their last four matches and have collected a maximum of 12 points in that period. The table-topping Robins have struggled here against fellow top-half sides although they’re undefeated against sides mid-table or below. A home win expected.

 

Northampton vs Grimsby Betting Tip – Northampton Win

The Cobblers are the in-form side of League Two and they have taken 14 points from their last eight games. Only three sides have scored more than Keith Curle’s side this season and they have suddenly found their shooting boots under the former Carlisle gaffer. They’ve beaten some decent sides at home with Crewe (last weekend), Newport, Plymouth and Salford all being defeated at Sixfields in recent months. Grimsby are a little unpredictable and they won’t be helped by Michael Jolley’s exit in midweek. The Mariners have won three times on the road this season, although two of those victories have come against bottom four opposition. The hosts have conceded an average of 0.89 goals per game at home and they should have too much for their managerless visitors here.

 

Cheltenham vs Colchester Betting Tip – Over 1.5 Cheltenham Team Goals

Michael Duff’s Cheltenham have been excellent this season and they were victorious in the FA Cup in midweek against league leaders Swindon. The Robins have been excellent this campaign and they are particularly handy at the Johnny Rocks Stadium. They’ve suffered just a single defeat in their last eight games and that came in El Glosico.
