Cosenza vs Venezia Betting Tip – Cosenza Win

The first of our midweek betting tips comes from Italy, where there is a full Serie B fixture list taking place. This game begins at 2pm, so it’s best to get your bets on nice and early.

The Venezia chairman was disgusted with his team’s performance at the weekend, and he turned the air blue in a post-match interview following their 4-1 hammering at the hands of Crotone. It was a dreadful loss, especially in front of a home crowd, who certainly made their feelings known throughout.

The club have already changed their manager this season, with Serse Cosmi struggling to get a tune out of this squad. He has picked up just a single win in his first eight games in charge, a narrow 1-0 home win against Foggia (who don’t travel well)

Venezia have now lost three of their last four matches, and have netted just three times in their last five Serie B matches.

Cosenza won’t make it easy for them. True, the hosts have very little to play for, as they are effectively safe, but they will be keen to build upon their decent home record. They have won three of their last five home matches by a 1-0 scoreline, and they held high-flying Palermo to a 1-1 draw.

They were also victorious in the first meeting of the season between the pair, and they should be able to do the double over their struggling hosts.

Perugia vs Cittadella Betting Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

The second of our Wednesday betting tips also comes from Serie B with Perugia taking on Cittadella. Both of these two sides are perfectly safe, and are generally looking up rather than down the table.

Cittadella have the best defence on the road this campaign, but their back-line has let them down in recent weeks, and they’ve been shipping plenty of goals along the way. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last four away games, and also conceded twice to Ascoli at home at the weekend.

Since beating Livorno 4-0, they’ve conceded nine times in three games, but they’re also handy going forward.

Perugia are one of those sides who are much more effective on the road, and they continue to concede silly goals in front of their own fans. They’ve lost three of their last four fixture here, and have been unable to keep a clean sheet since December 27th.

Benevento put four past them, Lecce picked up a rare away win here, and even when beating Livorno and Salernitana, they haven’t been able to compliment that victory with a clean sheet.

It ended 2-2 when they met earlier in the campaign, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a similar score-line here.

Spennymoor vs Bradford Park Avenue Betting Tip – Spennymoor Win

Spennymoor had a late season wobble, but they recovered well, and finished the season superbly. They host Bradford PA in the first leg of the National League North Play-Offs, and they are the third of our Wednesday night betting tips.

Spennymoor beat Chorley and Brackley here in their final two home matches, and following those two eye-catching performances, it’s hard not to fancy them to come out on top here. Jason Ainsley did fantastically well to galvanise the squad following a late-season lull, and they can take plenty of momentum into this clash.

In stark contrast, Bradford PA are out-of-form, and ended the season with three consecutive defeats, and four losses in five. They were away specialists during the course of the season, and they did win here as recently as March 19th, but they are conceding too many goals, and they may have to wait until the return leg in West Yorkshire to turn things around.

Momentum is so important at this time of the season, and the County Durham side will be chomping at the bit to get back to action. I fancy them to come out on top.
