Reasons for the New Year’s Day Acca Tips

Very late goals have been conceded by the Dale in recent defeats but they are facing another loss at Accrington.

 

Tranmere vs Coventry Betting Tip – Coventry win.

A Boxing Day home win against Lincoln and then an impressive 4-1 victory at Wycombe confirmed Coventry as one of the in-form teams in League One. The Sky Blues have lost just one league match since the beginning of November when conceding a very late winner at Shrewsbury and they now visit a Tranmere outfit struggling for consistency. Colchester could use home advantage to claim maximum points.

 

Northampton vs Stevenage Betting Tip – Northampton win.

When suffering a surprise 4-0 loss at Crawley on Boxing Day, Northampton incurred a second away defeat during December but they responded by earning a 2-2 home draw with Cheltenham at the weekend. The Cobblers had won five successive League Two matches on home soil against useful opposition and now host a Stevenage team struggling at the foot of the league table. Winless in league action since the end of October, the Boro were beaten by a very late goal at Plymouth on Sunday but had been second-best for much of that game.
