Paul Merson’s 9/1 Prediction for Arsenal vs Tottenham

The ex-Arsenal star has taken a look at the North London derby today and picked out a prediction for the big match live on Sky Sports. 

It was a terrible start to the season for Arsenal but they have improved in recent weeks, winning their last two matches 1-0 and picking up a 3-0 win in the League Cup. Whereas Spurs had a good start but have now lost their last two Premier League matches 3-0 (Crystal Palace and Chelsea). They needed penalties to beat Wolves in the League Cup in midweek too.

Tottenham will be hoping to have some of their injury concerns back to fitness for this one but in the latest betting odds they are 12/5 to win the match with Bet Victor. Arsenal are 5/4 and the draw is 23/10.

 

Merson’s Noth London Derby Prediction

On Sunday afternoon, a resurgent Arsenal team play host to Tottenham at the Emirates and Mikel Arteta’s men will look to extend their winning streak to four games in all competitions.

The Gunners sat at the bottom of the table heading into the recent international break but have since found their feet and could go as high as seventh in the division with victory over their bitter north London rivals.
