Sunday’s Premier League Predictions: Southampton v Wolves & Arsenal vs Tottenham

We’ve got two Premier League fixtures to take a look at today with the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham taking centre stage, Southampton vs Wolves is the early kick-off and we’ve picked out a correct score from each match.

The first match kicks off at 2pm and then the second game is a 4.30pm kick-off. Both matches are previewed below and you can see our prediction.

 

Southampton vs Wolves

The Saints are still waiting for their first win of the season, but they do look solid in defence, as they managed to get draws against Manchester City and Manchester United so far in the season. They miss a prolific goalscorer who will get them over the edge. They lost Danny Ings to Aston Villa in the summer, and they are yet to replace his impact.

Wolves are in a similar position as the hosts, as they have recorded just one win and four defeats so far in the campaign and they desperately need to get back on track. Last week’s defeat against Brentford was hard to swallow, and given their instability at the back, this should be a game in which Southampton will finally get their first win.

Arsenal vs Tottenham

The fierce North London derby awaits us on Sunday. Arsenal finally seem to have started playing like their fans have expected them to do so, as they haven’t conceded a goal in their last four games in all competitions.

The situation is not so bright at Spurs, as last week’s defeat against Chelsea showed all the cracks currently in their team. Harry Kane is yet to score his first goal of the season, and he seems hungover from the summer’s transfer saga. Spurs are so reliant on him, and he usually steps up in big games, but that won’t be enough here for them to get all three points.
