Tonight’s hosts currently sit top of the Czech Liga, with a seven point gap over second placed Viktoria Plzen. This gap had widened thanks to Slavia dropping just two points in their last six league matches and that brings them into tonight’s quarter final in fantastic form.

Their win over Sevilla in the last 16 came after both matches ended 2-2, before they ran out 4-3 winners after extra-time.

It is quite obvious they are a class above most of their opponents domestically, but in the Europa League they have been stopped from scoring on a few occasions this season including twice at home, however, the two 2-2 draws against Sevilla gives us hope they’ll at least get a goal tonight.

Chelsea haven’t really been tested so far in this tournament and breezed past Dynamo Kiev 8-0 on aggregate in the last round. That tie was over after the 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge so the scoreline probably flattered the Premier League side a little bit. They had conceded in each of their previous two away matches before that 5-0 win in Kiev.
