The obvious answer to this is to pick the best strikers in the league. So the likes of Lukaku, Aguero and Kane will all be favourites to score anytime in pretty much any match that they play in. This is of course a safer bet, but the odds are not as good. The tougher the opposition, the better the odds would be. The anytime goalscorer market is always for the 90 minutes so extra-time and penalties does not count (unless otherwise stated).

If your player starts the match on the bench and then comes on, your bet is still live. If your player does not come onto the pitch then your bet is void, or if it is in an accumulator that leg of the bet is void.

Most bookies use the rule that the scorer named by the Press Association is the goalscorer. This comes into play when there has been a deflection or the dubious goals panel is needed.

Own goals do not count for anytime goalscorer bets.
