bet365 Go Non-Runner No-Bet on Cheltenham 2025 – Five Cheltenham Festival Tips with NRNB

With the clock steadily ticking down to the Cheltenham Festival in March and following on from leading bookmaker William Hill’s non-runner no bet Cheltenham Festival concession on every race being announced recently a second high-profile bookmaker has broken ranks and entered the non-runner no-bet arena.
Arguably the world’s leading bookmaker bet365 joins William Hill offering non-runner no bet on a host of races throughout the four days of the Cheltenham Festival with their most recent announcement that Bet365 now offers NRNB on five of the Festival’s biggest races.
Pat Cooney, Racing PR Manager for Bet365 broke the news in a press release highlighting the bookmaker’s entry into the non-runner no bet market ahead of the Festival.
“The countdown to the Cheltenham Festival is now well and truly underway following this news.
“It’s always a popular choice for ante-post backers to have a money back option if you do back a non-runner once the offer applies to each race.
“Potential backers of Constitution Hill in particular can at least get a good night’s sleep now without worrying about his wellbeing!
“The Ryanair Chase is probably the race that will attract the most fresh opinions now we are NRNB, with many of the high-profile entries having other targets.
“The likes of Gaelic Warrior and Banbridge look a couple of NRNB types to consider.
“All told, it’s positive news for the Festival.”
WHICH RACES ARE INCLUDED IN BET365’s NRNB?
- Champion Hurdle (Tuesday)
- Champion Chase (Wednesday)
- Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday)
- Ryanair Chase (Thursday)
- Gold Cup (Friday)
Bet 365’s non-runner no bet offer on five major races at the Cheltenham Festival came into force from 5pm on Tuesday 14th January and covers the main races on each day of the Festival – Champion Hurdle (Tuesday), Champion Chase (Wednesday), Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday) and Gold Cup (Friday). In addition, the Grade One Ryanair Chase (Thursday) joins the line-up to complete the top-class quintet of races included in the Bet365 NRNB.
NON-RUNNER NO BET: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Non-runner No Bet (often abbreviated to NRNB) provides punters with a safety net on their bets, allowing ante-post stakes to be returned in the event that a horse doesn’t run for whatever reason. Typically in ante-post betting there is no refund of stakes when bets are placed ahead of the five-day declarations on any given race meaning in the event of a horse not taking part in a race, the punters’ stakes are lost and the bet being declared a loser.
In the case of NRNB, even though the odds on offer could be significantly shorter than those available on traditional ante-post markets punters do at least have the lifeline of knowing their stakes are safe in the event of a selection being deemed a non-runner for whatever reason on or before race-day.
Cheltenham Festival Ante-post Tips with bet365’s NRNB
- Champion Hurdle (Tuesday) – Constitution Hill – 4/7
- Champion Chase (Wednesday) – Jonbon – 7/4
- Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday) – Home By The Lee – 6/1
