Horse Racing Tips: Each-way Yankee Selections for Friday’s TV card

ITV Racing is scheduled to show six competitive races from Newmarket and York on Friday, all bar one of which feature double-figure fields.
As ever, in search of value, we’ve compiled an each-way Yankee, which we hope will pay dividends.
Newmarket
2:25 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes
Albany Stakes first and third, Sandrine and Oscula, set a decent standard, but on the prevailing good to firm going it may be worth taking a chance on Desert Dreamer. Unplaced in the Queen Mary Stakes, over 5 furlongs, at Royal Ascot, the Oasis Dream filly appeared to appreciate the return to today’s 6 furlongs when just touched off at Newmarket two weeks ago. That form doesn’t leave her with much to find with Sandrine, yet she is four times the price of Andrew Balding’s filly.
Selection: Desert Dreamer (10/1 with Bet365)
3:00 bet365 Trophy
A ‘Heritage’ handicap worthy of the name but, perhaps, an opportunity for the lightly-raced 4-year-old Live Your Dream to record his first win on turf. The Iffraaj gelding proved no match for the progressive Spanish Kiss (winner since), over a mile and a half, at York on his penultimate start, but won with plenty in hand when stepped up to an extended two miles at Wolverhampton last month. He is 10lb higher in the weights in a better race here, but looks on to keep on the right side.
Selection: Live Your Dream (9/1 with Bet365)
3:35 Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes
Indie Angel looked good when readily beating Lady Bowthorpe by 2½ lengths in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot and, even on 3lb worse terms, may be capable of confirming the form. Obviously, she faces stiffer competition with the fillies of the Classic generation also in opposition this time, but comes into the race on the back of a career-best effort and shouldn’t be underestimated.
Selection: Indie Angel (10/1 with Bet365)
York
2:40 William Hill Summer Stakes
The prolific Mo Celita couldn’t quite pull off a six-timer in the Palace of Holyrood Stakes at Royal Ascot three weeks ago, but was ultimately only beaten a length in a blanket finish and may not have finished winning yet. The winner of three selling races earlier in the season, the Camacho filly has officially improved by 29lb since mid-May and the return to 6 furlongs on rain-softened ground should suit here admirably.
Selection: Mo Celita (14/1 with Bet365)
Recommended Bet: 0.5-point each-way Yankee with Bet365
