Chepstow – 1:30

Eleven are set to go in this Class 4 Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase over 18 fences, and there are a few with chances. However, the each-way selection is the Jonjo O’Neill trained Frisco Bay. After showing some fair hurdle form, he matched that with two good runs over fences in May at Worcester and Uttoxeter. Back from a 157 day absence, he could be the answer with Kevin Brogan taking off a valuable 3 lb too.

Selection: Frisco Bay (5/1 with William Hill)

Nottingham – 2:10

This Class 5 Nursery Handicap should see 11 runners go to post to compete over 1m½f. The predicted soft ground makes Rollajam a big danger after he finished third of 16 in similar conditions at Newmarket two weeks ago. That was over 7f but because he was staying on in the final 100 yards, it suggests he might relish the step up to 1m, especially with give under foot. P J McDonald is in the saddle for the Jedd O’Keefe yard.

Selection: Rollajam (6/1 with William Hill)

Chepstow – 2:30

A competitive Handicap Chase over 2m in which Witness Protection gets the each-way nod. He returned from a five month absence to run a great race at Newton Abbot, finishing second to War Lord. This was despite losing his left-for shoe and he remains on the same mark for this contest. James Best is back in the saddle for the Martin Keighley yard.

Selection: Witness Protection (8/1 with William Hill)

Nottingham – 2:40

Cemhaan seemed to enjoy the testing conditions when winning at Salisbury  in September, flying home to beat Whitehaven on the line, who has gone on to win since. That was over 1m6f so the step up to 2m in this Class 4 Handicap should suit him given the manner of how he finished last time out. He is very much in form, having also registered a second place finish at Epsom in August for trainer, George Baker, and gets the confident each-way nod.

Selection: Cemhaan (11/2 with William Hill)
