Sporting Braga have just got their season underway. They are notoriously strong at home, and they opened their season with a 3-1 victory over Moreirense. They went 3-0 up, before conceded a late consolation. It’s a quick turnaround for the Portuguese outfit, who face Danish outfit Brondby on Thursday night. They’ve put themselves in a decent position by taking a 4-2 advantage into this second leg. The result slightly flattered the visitors, who were level at 2-2 until the 90th minute. Those two late goals will be crucial here, and they could potentially help open up this second leg. Across their two matches, Braga have seen seven different goalscorers, which will be music to the ears of Ricardo Sa Pinto. They will be hoping to make amends for their shock exit at this stage last season where Ukranian outfit Zorya went through on away goals.

Brondby have been in action since early July. They’ve managed to get through several rounds of this competition already beating Inter Turku and Lechia Gdansk. However, they did lost both away legs, conceding two goals in each of those visits. In their domestic division, Brondby have won three of their first five matches, and won at Hobro on Saturday. Brondby are always entertaining to watch, and they love to pour forward at every opportunity. However, their gung-ho style does leave them open to exploitation at the back, and in the Europa League they’ve lost seven of their last eight matches on the road. Brondby do have a natural goalscorer however with Kamil Wilczek netting six goals in five matches so far. Although he didn’t score in the first leg, he’s also scored twice already during the qualifiers.

Braga are expected to finish the job back in Portugal. They got off the mark for the season at the weekend, and they are always strong at the Municipal Stadium. Brondby conceded too many goals on the road, and they leave themselves open. This should be an entertaining tie, and the Danes have to attack from the off. They have conceded four away goals, and they cannot afford to take the patient approach. Braga should be able to win and adding Over 2.5 Goals adds some much needed value.

Although he didn’t net in the first leg, it’s worth sticking with the aforementioned Kamil Wilczek here. He’s on a red hot streak, and is clearly playing with plenty of confidence. He’s a decent price to score anytime in this fixture.
