Cardiff vs Fulham Predictions & Betting Tips for an 11/1 Bet Builder
Cardiff vs Fulham predictions and betting tips for tonight’s Championship play-off first leg match at the Cardiff City Stadium. Our three selections for tonight’s game combine to make up an 11/1 bet builder tip at bet365.
The first leg of play-off matches are usually cagey affairs and we seen that with Swansea vs Brentford last night, with the Swans taking a 1-0 lead away from their home leg. Now it is the turn of 5th vs 4th in the final Championship table. Fulham still had a chance of an automatic place going into the last game of the season but could only draw with Wigan.
Cardiff come into the play-offs in great form having won their last three matches including home wins against Derby (2-1) and Hull City (3-0). For Fulham, they are unbeaten in their last seven games, winning five and drawing two. If I were to go for a correct score prediction in this match, 1-1 looks the best bet and the odds are 11/2 with Bet Victor.

Aleksandar Mitrovic to score anytime
The Championship top goalscorer will look to fire his side into the play-off final having already scored 26 goals this season. He scored two in the recent 5-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday and also scored against tonight’s opponents just four matches ago. Fulham average 1.4 goals per match this season and that is largely down to Mitrovic’s goalscoring power.
Lee Tomlin to be booked
Our second selection for the bet tonight is Cardiff’s Lee Tomin to be booked. He’s had eight cards this season already and looks to break up play in the midfield. His game is creating chances and he isn’t the best tackler so expect to see a few mistimed challenges when he has to defend Fulham attacks.
Under 11 corners for both teams combined
The last bet for the bet builder tip is under 11 corners in the match. I’m not expecting an end to end game here and both sides will start cagey. They will know they cannot win the tie tonight but losing by a couple of goals will be damaging. There could be a lot of play in the middle third of the pitch so the corner count will hopefully stay low. There were just four corners in the first leg of Swansea vs Brentford last night.
