The Championship action this weekend takes place across Friday, Saturday and Sunday but our five betting tips for this weekend’s matches all take place on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest v Bristol City Betting Tip

Middlesbrough v Barnsley Betting Tip

After an opening day defeat, Middlesbrough are slowly finding their feet with back to back draws, they will now look to pick up their first win of the season when they welcome Barnsley to the Riverside.

Barnsley narrowly avoided relegation last season and the early signs of this season suggest they will be in for another dog fight come may, they have failed to score so far in their 3 league games and have been defeated twice and were held most recently nil-nil by newly promoted Coventry.
