David Prutton’s Football League Predictions for this Weekend 22/02/20

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has given his score predictions for this weekend’s Football League action, focusing on the Championship matches where there are a few very important games.

The action gets underway on Friday night with Derby vs Fulham, where the visitors will be looking to close the gap on the automatic promotion places, currently occupied by Leeds United and West Brom.

Leeds play Reading in one of the 3pm matches and West Brom have a tricky away tie at Bristol City, so it could be all change towards the top of the Championship table once again this weekend.

For tonight’s Derby vs Fulham match, David Prutton has predicted a 2-2 draw, saying: “Any hopes of Derby making a late run for the play-offs are getting slimmer and slimmer after failing to win their last two. One team often does it but I think the gap is just too big.”

“Fulham were desperately poor against Barnsley last week and that was a shocking result for a side chasing promotion. It will be interesting to see if Scott Parker sticks with Marek Rodak in goal, too. I fancy goals here, and a draw.”
