Chelsea vs Leicester Betting Tips

Despite their shaky defense, we think we saw enough in Chelsea’s two losses to think that they will be able to recover well. Leicester, on the other hand, do look strong themselves too, but have defensive questions of their own after not replacing the outgoing Maguire.

Taking everything into consideration, we think Leicester might be able to cause Chelsea further trouble and we predict a 2-1 win for the Foxes.

Chelsea somehow managed to begin a new campaign under club legend Lampard with a 4-0 loss against Manchester United, despite looking like the better team for large periods of the game.  They had more shots, shots on target, possession yet could not make use of it as both Tammy Abraham and Emerson hit the post early on.

Chelsea then went on to loss the Uefa Super Cup midweek to Liverpool on penalties in another close game that saw both teams score in extra time after playing out a 1-1 draw in regulation time. However, despite the losses, Chelsea will take heart in the performances of Pulisic, Barkley and Kante while the defense now without David Luiz looks shakier than before.

Leicester drew 0-0 against last year’s surprise package Wolves as they dominated possession, but could not create much in the way of clear cut chances. There still remains a lot of excitement around their talented young squad which Brendan Rodgers will hope to take to one of the Europa League spots while playing a familiar brand of attacking football like he did while at Liverpool.
