Doncaster did not play in midweek, and Darren Moore’s side will be feeling fresh ahead of this local-ish tie with Lincoln. Donny have made a decent start to the campaign, and remain unbeaten after three games. Although some sceptics doubted the ability of James Coppinger, the 38-year club legend is still firing them in, and he will hoping to grab his second goal of the campaign. Kieran Sadlier has been deployed up front so far this season, although Kazaiah Sterling has arrived on loan from Spurs to help ease the burden. At the time of writing, nothing has been confirmed, but Herbie Kane was believed to be in the stand watching the club’s 3-2 victory over Fleetwood. Moore’s men look solid to beat, and they’ll be aiming to rely on their home form once again. Last season, they were beaten just four times at the Keepmoat, and won 13 times in front of their own fans.

Lincoln lost their first game of the season on Tuesday night, slipping up against MK Dons. Danny Cowley’s men are extremely hard to beat, but they were opened up fairly easily at Stadium MK. In their previous away game, they emerged 2-0 winners, but it was a thoroughly undeserved victory, and they were thoroughly beaten on the XG ratings. They haven’t faced Doncaster since 2007, and will see this as a good opportunity to earn three points. The additions of Joe Morrell, Jack Payne and Jorge Grant have helped give the Imps a different way of playing, and they aren’t the ‘direct’ side that many pundits have them pinned down as. The former has just been called up to the Welsh squad in recognition of his excellent start to the campaign.

Lincoln are a tough nut to crack, and they will not lose many games this season. The Imps are always a threat from set-pieces, but they also play some decent stuff. Doncaster’s home form is terrific, and despite the change of management, they are still going to tough to beat at the Keepmoat. There isn’t much between these two sides, and with two draws already under their belt, Doncaster may have to settle for a point once more. The draw is available at 5/2, and looks a sensible way to bet in this game.

Donny are yet to keep a clean sheet, and that must be a concern for Darren Moore. Andy Butler and Marco Marosi both headed for pasture new this summer, and the replacements may take a little longer to settle in. At the other end of the field, Donny are always a threat, and they should be able to find a way through.
