It was a pretty easy route for Chelsea all the way to the semi-finals of the tournament where they met German side Eintracht Frankfurt. Before that, Sarri’s men had won 11 of their 12 matches, only dropping points in the dead rubber group game against Videoton having already won the group.

Chelsea vs Arsenal Head to Head Stats

Arsenal just hold the upper hand in the head to head history of these two teams, but only by 10 wins out of their 177 meetings. There have been some high scoring matches in recent meetings between the sides, including the 3-2 Chelsea win at the start of last season, when Arsenal came back from 2-0 down before Marcos Alonso bagged a winner with 10 minutes to go.
