When is the Europa League Final 2019 – Venue, TV Channel and Kick-off Time
The 2019 Europa League final will be the first of two all Premier League European cup finals with Arsenal and Chelsea descending on Baku, Azerbaijan, for the final on Wednesday 29th May.
There has been much controversy surrounding the location of this final, with fans struggling to get to Baku, and to get tickets for the match given that each team has only received an allocation of 6,000, despite the stadium having a capacity of 69,870.

The Europa League final will take place on Wednesday 29th May 2019 at the Baku Olympic Stadium, Azerbaijan.
What time is kick-off?
The match kicks-off at 11pm local time, allowing for the match to be an 8pm kick-off in the UK.

Is the Europa League Final on TV and how do I watch it for free?
The Europa League final will be shown in BT Sport, on the BT Sport app and website.
BT Sport have yet to confirm whether the Europa League and Champions League finals will be available to watch for free, but in past seasons this has been the case so we’re expecting the announcement shortly. Europa League 2019 Final Venue
The final takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan, at the impressive Baku Olympic Stadium. The capacity is 69,870.
The stadium was completed in 2015 with the aim of providing a state of the art stadium to rival the best in Europe. The main tenant of the stadium is the Azerbaijan national football team and in 2015 the stadium hosted the European Games, also known as Baku 2015.
The Baku Olympic Stadium, Azerbaijan, will also host a Euro 2020 quarter final and three Euro 2020 group matches.
How do you get to Baku?
From the UK, there is no easy way to get to the Europa League final in Baku. The latest SkyScanner options, flying out the day before the final and flying back the day after the final throw up some lengthy, and expensive routes.
The fastest current route will set you back £1,656 for a return flight from London, stopping off in Istanbul on your way to Baku, and returning to London via Riga in Latvia. The time for these journeys isn’t too bad at around 8 hours, but the cost is.
The cheapest option is £588 return, but this takes 23 hours with a stop in Ukraine on the way to Baku, and 20 hours home via the same route.
There are currently no direct flights available from London.

In the latest betting odds for the Europa League final, Chelsea are favourites to win in 90 minutes at 27/20, the draw is 23/10 and Arsenal are 2/1. Arsenal’s road to the Europa League final hasn’t been a smooth one, but they will be well fancied to win the trophy under the guide of Unai Emery, who has a brilliant record in the Europa League.
