I’d love to give Sassuolo some credit here but apart from their never give up attitude, I can’t actually think of any reason why they might have a chance. Napoli take this competition seriously and if Sassuolo put in a performance like the embarrassing 6-2 home loss to Atalanta or the 3-1 away loss to Roma, then they really don’t stand a chance. They will have to be on top form on Sunday. I can’t see that happening though, and in actual fact they are probably better off that way and better focusing on the league. They are fine against lower table teams, but anyone above them they fall apart. As I mentioned, their never give up attitude saw them almost come back into the Atalanta game twice, and I think it will serve them here. Not for much other than being on the scoresheet though.
