Premier League Predictions: Four Bets from tonight’s Tuesday fixtures

There are four Premier League fixtures taking place tonight including Manchester City’s trip to West Brom and Newcastle hosting Leeds United. We have picked out the best bet from each game and you can also bet on the accumulator.

Crystal Palace vs West Ham Prediction

West Ham to Win – 27/20 with Bet365.

The Hammers have won five on the bounce in all comps and are flying high this season. Since September, they have lost just three league games, with those defeats coming at the hands of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Crystal Palace have faired considerably worse of late with just a single win in their last eight league games. Michail Antonio is bang in form for the East Londoners and Roy Hodgson’s side will have a tough time dealing with him. An away win looks on the cards.

 

Newcastle vs Leeds Prediction

Leeds to Win to Nil – 11/4 with Bet365.

Newcastle have been in shocking form. Their defence-first attitude is rubbing fans the wrong way with results going against them and the will to win games seemingly missing. The Magpies are winless in eight league games having scored just two in the last seven.

Four wins and five defeats in Leeds’ last nine PL games is neither here nor there. The newly-promoted side should finish in mid-table obscurity but their games have been an all or nothing affair of late. Three of those four wins were to nil and it’s hard to see Newcastle finding the back of the net on current form.

 

Southampton vs Arsenal Prediction

Under 2.5 Goals – 10/11 with Bet365.

These two sides have faced each other twice since December with each fixture ending with under 2.5 goals. Southampton prevailed 1-0 in the FA Cup last time out and the scoreline is likely to be kept low once again.

Arsenal’s defensive displays have earned a lot of praise in recent weeks whilst their attack, although improved, is still some way from the finished product under Mikel Arteta. Southampton’s attacking output has slowed lately and coupled with the Gunner’s solidity, should result in an even contest with few goals.

West Brom vs Manchester City Prediction

Manchester City to Win to Nil – 10/11 with Paddy Power.

So far this season, Manchester City have won to nil on nine occasions in the league this season. They may have drawn 1-1 with West Brom the last time these sides met, but City’s record against the bottom ten sides is remarkably consistent. Eight of their ten encounters resulted in a win with seven of those involving clean sheets.

West Brom have picked up in an attacking sense but scoring past the best defence in the league once again seems rather unlikely.
