Saturday’s Premier League Tips

  • Chelsea vs West Brom
  • Leeds vs Sheffield United
  • Leicester vs Manchester City
  • Arsenal vs Liverpool

Chelsea vs West Brom

Kai Havertz Anytime Goalscorer – 9/5 with BetVictor

It hasn’t been the best of first seasons for Havertz at Chelsea but the German international is beginning to find his feet in a new role. Thomas Tuchel has utilised Havertz in an centre forward role which led to an assist and winning a penalty in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Everton. A goal for Germany during the international break will have done his confidence no harm.

West Brom have conceded 57 goals this season, more than any other side in the league. The Baggies are staring down the barrel of relegation and this looks like a great opportunity for Chelsea to strengthen their bid for a top four spot.

Leeds vs Sheffield United

Leeds to Win and Over 3.5 Goals – 3/1 with Paddy Power

Sheffield United are as good as gone and the departure of Chris Wilder seems to have taken some of their remaining fight with him. The Blades suffered their worst defeat of the season after collapsing against Leicester in a 5-0 loss last time out.

Leeds have been involved in 10 league games with over 3.5 goals this season and have scored three or more on seven occasions. A one-sided heavy win for Leeds isn’t difficult to see.

Leicester vs Manchester City

Kelechi Iheanacho Anytime Goalscorer – 14/5 with BetVictor

Iheanacho is in fantastic form for Leicester right now. The Nigerian is scoring for fun and bagged a hat-trick against Sheffield United in his last league game. He now faces his old club and champions-elect Manchester City.

Guardiola’s side have been imperious in defence for the majority of the campaign but have conceded six in their last five and kept just one clean sheet in that period. It’s hardly a disaster but it does represent a drop off from previous figures. Leicester put five past Man City earlier in the season and certainly have the pedigree to find the net again.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

Diogo Jota Anytime Scorer – 29/20 with William Hill

A timely return from injury for Diogo Jota is just what Liverpool needed. The Reds have recently struggled of late but a goal against his former club Wolves as well as three goals in two games for Portugal suggest Jota is back to his top form.

Arsenal are unbeaten in four league games but have conceded in each of their last eight. West Ham went 3-0 up in 35 against the Gunners last time out highlighting Arsenal’s soft underbelly. Jota is as likely as anyone to net for the Reds and is priced rather kindly.
