Following Liverpool’s two recent draws, the gap at the top is down to three points and Man City will be expected to go back to the top of the table with a win at Goodison Park. Marco Silva must be worried about his job at Everton – there is more increasing unrest at Goodison Park following the shock exit in the FA Cup, surrounded by poor Premier League results. Their 3-1 loss at home to Wolves on Saturday was another really poor showing from the Everton players and there inability to defend set pieces once again reared it’s head. They conceded three against Millwall, were beaten at Southampton and took a 6-2 hiding at home to Tottenham. All the signs are bad ones for Everton fans here.

Manchester City are back to winning ways following two of their biggest shocks this season when they lost against Newcastle and Crystal Palace. Luckily for City and Pep Guardiola, Everton have an awful record against the top six. Sergio Aguero was the hero on Sunday with a hat-trick in the 3-1 win against Arsenal and he’ll once again lead the line. They do still have one big injury absentee in Kompany and a busy schedule coming up so we’re predicting more changes to the City line-up with Mahrez, Danilo and John Stones all in line for starts.

The first prediction for this match is Man City to win and both teams to score. Everton to tend to score goals even though they don’t have a top class striker and Richarlison is usually their main threat. Andre Gomez scored a screamer in the defeat to Wolves and this betting tip would have been a winner in three of Everton’s last four matches.

Our second selection is going to be an anytime scorer bet and we’re taking a chance on Leroy Sane starting the game at Goodison. Pep has said that there will be rotation and given that they have just played Arsenal and have Chelsea to come, it would be no surprise to see one of two of Sterling, Bernardo Silva or David Silva rested. It is hard to see Everton’s defence stopping the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane from creating chances and it could be a long night for the home side and their fans.
