The Foxes left it late to beat Everton on Sunday but got the 2-1 win thanks to a VAR overrule. That result has left them in second place before this round of midweek fixtures, eight points behind Liverpool. Leicester vs Watford Predictions

The visitors have already sacked two managers this season and they must be looking at this Leicester team and just praying they were more like them. Brendan Rodgers was an inspired appointment by the Leicester board and he has made a brilliant start to the season with his group of players. Jamie Vardy is once again scoring goals in every match and with Ayoze Perez and James Maddison in support, they are the perfect counter attacking team.

Unfortunately for Watford fans, it has been a very different season for them so far. After reappointing Quique Sánchez Flores and then sacking him a couple of months later, Hayden Mullins will take charge of the team for this tricky fixture. Watford are bottom of the table and six points adrift of safety. They’ve only won one match all season and that was three games ago against Norwich City.

The odds for Watford to win this match are 8/1 with William Hill, a draw is priced at 9/2 and Leicester are 1/3 to get another three points.

For the first of my Leicester vs Watford predictions, I am betting on a Leicester victory to nil. The conceded against Everton on Sunday but that was the first goal their defence had conceded in five Premier League matches. Watford do provide a goal threat but they’ve failed to score in half of their away matches this season. The odds for Leicester to win without conceding are best at Bet Victor, where you’ll get 11/8.

Jamie Vardy is the obvious choice for a goalscorer in this game, but his odds are very short at 4/6. He’s looking to make it seven matches in a row in which he has scored and he’ll be a popular captains pick for Fantasy Football too. However, I’m going to take a chance on Ayoze Perez getting a goal for my next Leicester vs Watford prediction. The winger scored a couple in the 9-0 rout of Southampton and had a couple of chances in the first half against Everton on Sunday. Given that I expect a comfortable Leicester win here, they might well share the goals around and Perez looks a good bet to score at odds of 9/4 with Paddy Power.

Leicester to win to nil is one of the earlier betting tips for this match and I’m going to back that up with a prediction of a 3-0 Leicester win. This side show no mercy when beating teams and that was shown emphatically when they put nine past Southampton earlier in the season. With Watford’s troubles both on and off the pitch, I’m predicting an easy Leicester win in this game.
