Paul Pogba to Real Madrid, Gareth Bale to Manchester United?

Reports are suggesting that Gareth Bale will be offered to Manchester United as part of a swap deal for Paul Pogba this summer. With Eden Hazard now a Real Madrid player, it looks like Zinedine Zidane will try and move the Welsh superstar on.

Paul Pogba was largely blamed for the troubles at Manchester United last season, having a huge fall-out with Jose Mourinho before playing some of the best football of his Man United career in the early Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era, however a poor end to the season has once again left United fans seething with Pogba’s performances.

Zinedine Zidane is not the biggest fan of Gareth Bale and he didn’t get many chances in the Real Madrid team last season, so this could be the ideal time for the former Tottenham man to move back to the Premier League.

 

How much is Paul Pogba worth?

There are reports that Manchester United will demand around £130, for Paul Pogba, and that could be a sticking point for Real Madrid who have already spent over £250m on players this summer. Eden Hazard was the latest arrival and he follows Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes to the Bernabeu.

It is unlikely they’ll fork out another massive fee for Pogba, but Gareth Bale would be the perfect make weight given his Premier League experience. Bale collects £600,000 a week in Madrid and he would likely have to take a cut to come back to England, but United will free up a lot of funds if Pogba follows Ander Herrera out of Old Trafford.

With Eden Hazard joining Real Madrid for around €100m plus add-ons, you have to think that Paul Pogba would be available for less than that, however Man United know how valuable the Pogba brand is and that could be the reason for the big price tag on the French World Cup winner. Gareth Bale would also be a big name to replace him at Old Trafford.
